Water Festival

The annual water festival provides area youth the opportunity to come out and experience the various uses of water from agriculture to recreation in a hands-on, minds-on way. This active engagement encourages lifelong learning of water science principles from area experts.

Water Fest 2019 is in the planning process and will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Rio Grande Farm Park in Alamosa. The day will begin at 9 am and include amazing activities and stations until 5 pm. We are inviting select schools to participate with their 3rd or 4th grade, but if your school would like to participate, please let us know! Community members are also welcome to attend.
